2009 Gewurztraminer - Sunrise Vineyard

From our Gewurztraminer, expect intense aromatics and lush fruit. Notes of lychee fruit, flowers, mandarin and exotic spice mesh wonderfully with the subtle touch of sugar and vibrant acidity.  From the Sunrise Vineyard in the Ahtanum Valley west of Yakima, this wine expresses the freshness and brightness we expect from our high elevation vineyards around our winery.

2008 Estate Chardonnay

Our 2008 Doc Stewart Vineyard Chardonnay was aged in 100% French oak, of which 45% was new oak.  Aged sur lie for 10 months, it was stirred batonnage-style in order to enhance the texture and creaminess of the palate.  Aromatically it exhibits honeycomb, lily, and vanilla, while the palate is rich, full, and smooth.  2007 vintage received 90 pts and was deemed the 6th best Washington State value white in 2009 by the Wine Spectator.

2007 Cougar Syrah

The Cougar Vineyard Syrah comes from a vineyard that is nearby our Doc Stewart Vineyard in the Wahluke Slope. Its full body, healthy tannin and wonderful oak profile make this wine a winner with grilled, roasted or braised meats. For a fun twist try it with beef fajitas, cassoulet or texas-style barbecue.

2007 Estate Malbec

Made from grapes grown at the Doc Stewart vineyard on the south facing of the Wahluke slope. This wine takes off with an aromatic rush of dark berries, sweet herbs, black licorice and charred cedar. The ride continues through an ample, juicy palate rife with chewy tannins and cruises smoothly into a lengthy mineral finish. Drink now through 2018.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2007 vintage of our award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon offers beguiling aromas of mountain blackberry, cinnamon spice, pine needles and sarsaparilla that lure you into a velvety palate of explosive dark fruit, strawberry jam and cocoa.  Drink now through 2019. 2006 Vintage recieved 91 points from Wine & Spirits Magazine who named it "One of the 100 Best Cabernet Sauvignons of 2009." 

2008 Tempranillo Port

This seductive wine from our 24K Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope was made in a traditional Portuguese style using Tempranillo grapes.  Tempranillo is known in Portugal as "Tinta Roriz" and is the second most planted variety in the Douro Valley, the region where "Port" originates.  This Tempranillo offers bright red fruit, luscious tannins and pleasant sweetness and pairs well with dark chocolate, cheesecake, and other rich desserts.
