ABOUT DE LA SOIL
Husband and wife team Cody and Andrea Westerfield started “De La Soil” in 2018. The mission was simple, create one-of-a-kind intimate gatherings in a variety of settings to both further their culinary abilities as well as bring people together in the act of breaking bread.
Meeting in culinary school and immediately working our way up to the top in a variety of kitchens from Seattle to Salt Lake City and back. Andrea spent most of her time on the sweeter side working as pastry chef to both Lecosho and Serafina. Cody spent time being professionally trained in Switzerland where he learned in kitchens from Lucerne to Paris. It was only right to bring that shared knowledge together to create something great for our love of food, our love of each other, and our surrounding community.
Focusing on the farm-to-table approach, De La Soil has an extensive farm plot at Tuk Muk farms in Woodinville, WA where vegetables are sourced and a handful of animals are love, nurtured and raised for future events.
The location, format, and service staff for De La Soil changes with each event allowing for full creative freedom and flexibility to express ourselves in a variety of ways.
