Rosé Release Day: Members Only
March 22, 2015 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Its going to be a very PINK day on March 22 here in Yakima at the downtown tasting room for Sibling, Cousin and Gilbert Peak Members.
Our 2013 Rosé SOLD OUT by July last year, which means there were a lot of thirsty folks in August. We made only 900 cases of the 2013 vintage, and the same in 2014, so it will go faster than you can pop a cork. Don’t let this happen to you!
Featuring: Live Music TBA, Menu Specials TBA, and tastes of the new 2014 vintage of Rose. At the event, Rosé by the bottle and case will be available to Sibling, Cousin and GIlbert Peak members. On April 1, the remaining 2014 Rosé will be available to the public online and at the tasting room.
Not a Gilbert Peak member? Make this the day you join!
TASTING NOTES: 58% Mourvedre & 42% Grenache sourced from the 24K Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope. The nose has wonderful vibrancy and showcases a beautiful aromatic nuance. Prominent are grapefruit, peach and kiwi fruits, framed within a fragrant almost perfumed character reminiscent of rose petals and pollen. The palate opens with a soft, somewhat creamy texture that is framed within and almost lifted by the well integrated acidity that is present throughout.
